Gentle Yoga - January

Stressing respect for individual differences, this gentle yoga class is designed to increase strength, flexibility and relaxation. Mindfulness practice, body awareness exercise, visualization and calming yogic breathing will be explored. The student will be guided through a series of easy, slow movements, and relaxation techniques. A mat, chair or both may be used. Modifications will be provided to accommodate individual needs. Please bring a mat. A small pillow or blanket and eye pillow are suggested but not required. For those not comfortable practicing on the floor, chairs will be available for use.
